As always, you can use the links provided to go directly to the new material. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Medicare Compliance Review of Barnes Jewish Hospital for Calendar Years 2009 and 2010 (A-07-11-05014) http://go.usa.gov/Vt0 Barnes Jewish Hospital (the Hospital), located in St. Louis, Missouri, complied with Medicare billing requirements for 182 of the 240 outpatient and inpatient claims we reviewed. However, the Hospital did not fully comply with Medicare billing requirements for the remaining 58 claims, resulting in overpayments totaling $725,000 for calendar years 2008 through 2011. Overpayments occurred primarily because the Hospital did not have adequate controls to prevent the incorrect billing of Medicare claims. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Medicare Compliance Review of Indiana University Health for the Period October 2008 through September 2010 (A-05-11-00069) http://go.usa.gov/VtX Indiana University Health generally complied with Medicare billing requirements for selected inpatient and outpatient claims.
