Chavez is believed to have submitted more than $11 million in claims to Medicare for durable medical equipment that was never provided to Medicare beneficiaries. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comparison of Fourth-Quarter 2011 Average Sales Prices and Average Manufacturer Prices: Impact on Medicare Reimbursement for Second Quarter 2012 (OEI-03-12-00410) http://go.usa.gov/73c This review was conducted in accordance with the statutory mandate for the Office of Inspector General to identify Medicare Part B prescription drugs with average sales prices that exceed average manufacturer prices (AMP) by at least 5 percent.
