FDA’s Post-Response Team Works to Prevent Outbreaks
August 2012 marks the first anniversary of the launching of the CORE (Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation) Network. This is the last of four Consumer Updates describing its work to investigate, control and prevent outbreaks of foodborne illnesses. Today: the Post-Response Team.
This team is dedicated to learning from outbreaks and using those lessons to prevent similar outbreaks from happening in the future.
