Ukcat, gamsat, gradmed, med school prep materials for sale!

Posted: 01 Sep 2012 06:12 AM PDT

Hi Guys,

If anyone is interested, I have a bunch of UKCAT, GAMSAT etc. books/preparation materials that I will not need anymore as I will hopefully begin studying Medicine next month!

Just to let you know, I attended the Gradmed Course (over £1500!!) and the majority of the materials I received from there I am selling. The course is definately excellent, but its still too expensive. Alot of the material is covered in the books-the teachers more or less just read from them lol. Thes same applies to Kaplan UKCAT. The book itself is excellent and in my opinion the closest representation to the real test iteself. However, the course (~£200) is unecessary as you can cover the book yourself and pretty much get the same effect.

In total, the entire material cost me well above 600-700 pounds. You can let me know which materials you prefer, if not the whole bulk, and I can either post it to you or you can come and collect it from me (im in SW london)

The materials are heavily annotated, mostly in pencil which can be erased. Some pages in the Gradmed books are also highlighted. There may be some people who benefit from the markings in the book as they do include advice/points from teachers.

If anyone is interested, contact me ASAP as I will be going away in a couple of weeks time. With regards to price, I'll happily negotiate to a sensible amount. I know how stressful getting these materials can be and am aware of the financial circumstances. Just contact me and we'll discuss.

As there is a restriction limit, I can't upload all the pictures. so I've just attached one showing everything I got. For anyone interested, give me your email address and I can send you all the images I've taken of the materials, including some inside pages so you can get a rough idea as to what level the amount of annotations are present.

Thanks guys and good luck!

emedica calculator

Hey everbody!

In the emedica qr practice tests, is it possible to use an on-screen calculator?

Can i still apply to King's?

Hi

I am just a bit worried whether i could still apply to King's:confused:... I did my UKCAT yesterday and i got an average of 657.5 and i got 5A*s 5As and 1B at GCSE and 3As and 1C in French (which i plan to retake and drop next year) at AS Level... I really would love to go to King's and it would be a shame if there wasnt at least a chance of getting interview but i think it wouldnt be wise to waste a choice if i didn't have a chance in the beginning... would a good personal statement help that much?
I would be grateful for any advice given :) as im really confused right now :(

Thank you in advance!!!!
