Hello can somebody help, I am really confused what to do...

To cut a long story short, I didn't get the grades to enter Medicine as a school leaver, so I decided to do a degree in Biological Sciences, hoping to later enter Medicine as a graduate. All would have been fine, until my final year in Biosciences...I passed the UKCAT with a glorious 720, had an interview with Newcastle, all was going well until I failed two modules, and both resits, in my Biosciences degree. As you can imagine I was totally gutted, and was told my only option was to resit the whole year but I wasn't able to because of money issues.

So....I gave up on the idea of going to Medical School, as I thought there would be no way they'd take someone who'd failed to complete a first degree. It just looks so bad. However, I was told by a friend yesterday that instead of thinking of it as "failing a degree," I should remember that technically I still have an HND exit award after the two years of successful study. So.....my question is, if I was to apply to study Medicine now, would it be acceptable to put down HND Biosciences on my UCAS form? Or would I be taking a massive risk, as they might find out I was on the degree course and didn't finish??

Oh dear, what to do....

Hi all!!! I am delighted to have been shortlisted for a trainee ambulance technician position in the SAS. I have my assesment day on Monday the 4th of March at 10.30am. I've already got my C licence so have to do the driving assesment the same day. If I am succesful the final interview apparantely is the week after and if I am succesful through that the 3 week driving course starts on April the 21st. So not long at all if I am lucky enough to be selected. I am looking for advice on what to prepare for on the assesment day and final interview? What is the cognitive excercise with the listening and repeating? Anything that will help. I am arranging to go and see my local station soon as well. Is anyone else shortlisted for the SAS trainee technicians role? I hope to hear back soon!!! Thanks!!!
