CTP Welcomes Mitch Zeller

This Week in CTP - Updates from the Center for Tobacco Products   This week, FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products welcomes our new Center director, Mitch Zeller. A champion for tobacco control and public health, Mitch has been working on FDA issues for more than 30 years. His experience includes a six-year stint as a public interest attorney, five years as a congressional counsel, and seven years as a senior FDA official. Tobacco regulation is his passion: In the 1990s, he was the inaugural director of FDA’s Office of Tobacco Programs and has devoted the past 19 years to tobacco-related issues.
