Canadian Applying to Med School for 2013-2014 (hopefully)

Hi people,

I'm a Canadian currently in Grade 12 looking to apply to different UK medical schools (not sure which ones).

I need a few clarifications:

- First, is it right that I should apply to (how many?) universities through USAC by 15 October 2013?

- Is the current application deadline (for 15 October 2013) for the study year of Fall 2014 - Summer 2015? If so, can I still apply for the study year of Fall 2013 - Summer 2014

- And finally, are there any medical schools that start in perhaps February 2014 for the A100 programme?

Policy on graduates retaking A Levels post degree

Hi all,

The first time I sat my A levels, I did Chemistry and achieved a pretty bad grade. Since graduating (2.1) and going on to do MSc, I'm now in the process of redoing the A Level. Does the fact that I'm retaking Chemistry rule me out of the 5 year courses as a graduate applicant? For example, King's ask for an E in Chemistry and Biology for graduates, and Bart's ask for a B in both subjects. I'm worried that by retaking after originally getting a bad grade, this has limited me to 4 year courses where they don't consider your A-Levels?
