Hi there,
Just wondering if somebody for whatever reason cant get onto a training post is it ok to locum long term in various hospital around the country?Id imagine the main issue with this is that you constantly have to travel every 3-4 months or so but i believe your accomodation is paid for by the hospital and the pay rates are excellent.No sick/holiday pay is another issue that would spring to mind.Anybody have an opinion on this?Id imagine some of the foreign doctors around the country are doing this long term in hospitals.
