| Question regarding finance for GEM (UK students) Posted: 29 Jan 2014 03:21 AM PST Hello I am a hopeful GEM student starting this Sept, 2014. I am currently trying to wrap my head around fundings & finances for the GEM course. My question is: To get the tuition fee (i.e. the £5,500 for the four years) loan for my course, do I need to make an application to Student Finance England; or does NHS Bursary give me that loan, as well as the £3,500 funding? Your help is much appreciated :) Cheers Ernest |
| Applying to SGUL with an Access to Medicine course Posted: 28 Jan 2014 06:51 AM PST Hi, I'm a mature student applying for the MBBS5 degree with a completed Access to Medicine course. I received an email from Micki Regan in November asking me to send copies of all my educational certificates to date (including GCSEs and A-Levels). I sent these copies fairly swiftly but I have not yet heard back from admissions. I understand that I am a non-conventional applicant and that is why they have requested this information, but I keep thinking that they just want to reject me and are ensuring that they have all the relevant information first. I'm wondering if there are any Access students who have applied to SGUL (currently or in the past) and are/were in a similar situation? Thanks. |
