| As we celebrate National Wear Red Day, I encourage you to look to FDA for educational and scientific resources on women and heart disease. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women. FDA is committed to educating consumers on how to safely use the medicines, devices, and foods essential for women's heart health. We are also supporting regulatory research to better understand sex-based differences that impact products used to diagnose and treat heart disease. To learn more about these efforts, check out the resources and activities highlighted in this update.
