Can someone please answer my questions! Posted: 09 Feb 2014 07:37 PM PST 1.) Did you always want to become a pediatrician? 2.) How long did you spend in school? 3.) What was your best experience? 4.) What was your worst experience? 5.) If you could change one thing about your profession, what would it be and why? 6.) What was one of your greatest accomplishments? 7.) Are you able to manage a family and still go to school while pursuing this career? 8.) What made you choose a pediatrician as your profession? 9.) How do you spend your free time, if any? 10.) Is there another career you can see yourself doing?
Posted: 09 Feb 2014 03:43 PM PST Hi there. Quick questions, promise. Pastest finals online question bank, £39 6-month subscription... Worth it, any experience with it? Second, anyone know of any discount codes or if they offer MDU/MPS discount or anything? Thanks very much, Dean
Early GAMSAT revision for 2015 Posted: 09 Feb 2014 01:45 PM PST Hey! I took the GAMSAT in September 2013 and didn't do that well unfortunately. So I will be taking it again in September 2014 for 2015 entry. I am planning to start my GAMSAT preparation very early this time and was wondering if any one else is planning to do the same whether you would like to study with me or in a group? :) Jessica

St George's A101 Waiting List Limbo Posted: 09 Feb 2014 06:50 AM PST Hello everyone, as "The Student Room" seems to be mainly undergraduate students I thought I would create an account and start a thread for those who have fortunately (depends how you look at it) been placed on the waiting list. I have been told that they no longer offer a guaranteed deferred place for those applicants who are on the list, and in the words of the lovely Ms Regan you are now in "limbo." As it stands I feel like my life is going in super slow motion and I don't really know what the future holds for me. This is my third time applying and it feels like i am so close yet so far. Anyway does anyone have any kind of an idea how much the waiting list generally moves? Is the waiting list used as soon as offers are declined, or do they offer more than the places and only use the waiting list if there is an unexpectedly high number of people turning them down? Any information is much appreciated.
Posted: 09 Feb 2014 06:27 AM PST My teacher has given me this question: You are a GP and you have just found out that one of the doctors is giving preferential treatment to white patients. How will you approach this situation?? I have no idea to how to even begin answering this question, its for medical school interview practice that I'll have on Monday. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
