Hemophilia Treatments Have Come a Long Way

Gone are the days when a diagnosis of hemophilia—a rare bleeding disorder—meant you could not live a normal life. Now more treatments are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and those with the condition can better manage their symptoms.
In addition, FDA’s regulation of the biologic products used as treatments ensures they are safe. That’s good news as thousands of people observe World Hemophilia Day tomorrow, April 17.
