Health News Med: MNT Newsletter

Dear kostik,

We wrote to you earlier this month about updating your Medical News Today newsletter information. This is the last email we will send you about it, and from next Tuesday (1st July 2014) you will stop receiving our newsletters.

With that out of the way, let us answer some of the questions a few of you have had for us, and tell you a bit about what a "Your MNT" account will give you.

Q: Is my subscription still free?

A: An emphatic yes. MNT Newsletters, just like the rest of our news content and features, are free and will stay that way.

Q: Why do I need an MNT account just for a newsletter?

A: We previously used separate systems to provide our readers with the ability to receive customised newsletters, or to customise their MNT home page. With the update to the MNT website in late 2013, we decided to bring these and other services under one roof, making it much easier for members to find and change their settings.

Q: Why are you asking for information from me?

A: The information we're asking you to enter for creating an MNT account is exactly the same as it's always been to receive newsletters, and nothing more. We have pre-populated the previous answers you gave us, and promise not to sell or share your information. If you want to find out more about how we handle the information you provide to us, please review our privacy policy.

Q: What will an MNT account provide me with?

1. Newsletter preferences at your fingertips. Subscribe, unsubscribe, change news categories; you can do it all in one place.

2. Customizable MNT home page. Only want to see news for one or two of your favourite categories? You can!

3. Quick opinion posting, and live notifications of follow-up opinions. [Coming Soon]
