Medics with health issues- syncope/bradycardia/pacemakers

Im a 4th yr medic and have been experiencing syncope/ pre syncope symptoms for some years now.

Tests showed severe bradycardia and insertion of a pacemaker is highly likely. However, sodium tablets and fludrocortisonse are being tried as they have helped increase my bp as that too is low.

My question is are there doctors with any similar problems or anyone with a pacemaker? does it affect your career? Are there any restrictions regarding syncope/ pacemaker implantation for doctors? Especially if involved with occupational health?

any advice is highly appreciated!
