Keele School of Medicine continues to rocket through the rankings!!!

Posted: 21 Aug 2014 03:57 AM PDT

Keele school of medicine started life as the Manchester school of Medicine taught at Keele around 2003.
Then they offered the whole MBchB themselves in 2007 and the first full Keele medics graduated in 2012. This allowed the GMC to fully approve of the 5 year program in January 2012.

As one of the new medical schools established after the 2000's the school has gone from strength to strength and has rocket through the rankings. This shows that the dedication of the staff, the caliber of the students and the effectiveness of studying medicine as a hybrid course.

Lets look at the progress Keele has made

Guardian University Guild: Medicine 2012- ranked 29/30

Guardian University Guild: Medicine 2013- ranked 24/30

Guardian University Guild: Medicine 2014- ranked 10/31

Guardian University Guild: Medicine 2012- ranked 4/31

Keele also invested £2.8 million into a new anatomy and surgical training centre, opened in October 2013. This is the only surgical training centre in the Midlands.

GEm fees funding

Posted: 20 Aug 2014 03:42 PM PDT

Hey there. I am considering applying for GEM medicine in Ireland next year. I have been doing some research and I have found that there seems to be no help or funding towards the fees. Has anyone had any different experiences of this, or does anyone of you know where one might look to receive funding towards these enormous fees.

Thanks in advance

I speak the language natively, a bit rusty. Studied in UK.

Anyone has experience in carrying out their speciality training in Germany?
