Posted: 08 Aug 2014 07:53 AM PDT Hello, I'm a UK citizen who studied in an EU university was deemed ineligible for applying to FY1 because I didn't get 7.5 in one of the modules for the IELTS exam. Anyway, I have to apply next year and was wondering what people did/what options are available to those in my situation who have been forced to take a gap year after medical school? Thanks |
UKCAT applicants who have already taken the test Posted: 08 Aug 2014 06:48 AM PDT Hi, I am currently revising for my UKCAT test and I was wondering if the applicants who have already done the UKCAT and have scored high on a particular section or overall, would be willing to share their advice on their practice strategies and how to tackle that particular section in their opinion. Basically, I am looking for strategies on each section of the test from those who scored well. Would appreciate your comments alot.:) Mercedes |
Posted: 08 Aug 2014 06:32 AM PDT Hi, I've just taken a forced gap year after getting 4 rejections, with grades B chem, A H.Bio, A maths, A as phsyics, and have re-applied again this year and again got 4 rejections, but i will have 4A's in maths, chem, physics, and biology. i am now currently thinking of doing another degree either microbiology at imperial or biomedical science at kings college london. first of all i cant decide between the two, can you give me suggestions on which one i should choose if i wanted to apply for GEP, with which one will i have a stronger chance assuming i get 2.1 in either. Also with my a-levels should i go for the GEP route or should i re-apply for 2015, and what can i do during that time. I would be grateful if you could answer any of the points, Thanks, |
