How have/are you been treated whilst working as an HCA?

So I'm trying to get some work experience or even a job as an HCA, but every time i read a blog or post related to HCA work, I'm reading a lot of negative things. Has anybody ever felt that they just wanted to give up medicine as a career whilst working as an HCA? I know for sure that this might put me off, but what i also know is that I've got to keep the bigger picture in mind. I think I'm just looking for some words of encouragement.
