What's life like as a Liverpool GEM A101 student?

There's only 30 of you guys each year, aren't there?

If you were a bit older when joining (mid 20's), was it a bit weird to be basically surrounded by a sea of 18 year olds...!? Is it customary for the GEM students from years above and below your own to socialize?

Please let me know what life is like on the course...
